At StarABrilliance, we believe that learning should be as joyful as it is meaningful. On October 2, our community gathered for a special Mini Camp event, an afternoon designed to showcase the best of our after school programs for children ages 3–9. Families from Hell’s Kitchen and Midtown West, NYC joined us for a day filled with creativity, movement, and innovation.
From LEGO Robotics to K-Pop Dance and Glow Arts, our young learners explored exciting new activities while parents experienced the warm and welcoming environment that sets StarABrilliance apart.
A Look Inside the Mini Camp Experience
The Mini Camp was held at our Midtown West location (602 W 57th St, NYC) and welcomed children and parents eager to explore enrichment beyond the classroom. With bilingual instructors, engaging activities, and plenty of fun, the event gave families a firsthand look at the programs we offer year-round.
To make the day even more family-friendly, we provided free snacks and pizza for the kids, and our Parent Café Lounge with WiFi created a comfortable space for parents to relax while their children participated.
LEGO Robotics: Building Creativity and STEM Skills

One of the highlights of the Mini Camp was the LEGO Robotics session. Children worked together to build and program robots, combining creativity with problem solving and teamwork.
This hands-on activity gave kids the chance to explore STEM concepts in an exciting and age-appropriate way. Beyond just building, children gained confidence as they learned how technology and imagination come together to create something new.

K-Pop Dance: Energy, Rhythm, and Confidence

Our K-Pop Dance class filled the room with energy and excitement. Children ages 3–9 followed engaging routines set to upbeat music, learning choreography that encouraged movement, rhythm, and self-expression.
K-Pop Dance is more than just exercise, it is an opportunity for kids to build confidence, practice coordination, and express themselves through music and movement.

Glow Arts: A World of Creativity and Imagination

The Glow Arts session transported kids into a world of glowing colors and illuminated imagination. Using neon paints and UV light, children created vibrant masterpieces that encouraged both sensory play and artistic expression.
Arts-based programs like Glow Arts help children develop creativity, emotional expression, and critical thinking, skills that benefit them well beyond the classroom.

A Relaxing Experience for Parents
While the kids were busy building robots, dancing, and creating glowing art, parents enjoyed the StarABrilliance Parent Café Lounge. With WiFi, refreshments, and a comfortable setting, families could connect with staff, learn more about our programs, and see firsthand the safe and nurturing environment we provide.
This focus on parent experience highlights the trust and transparency that makes StarABrilliance a family favorite in Hell’s Kitchen and Midtown West.
